Flipflopping Again
The Kerry campaign would like the American people to believe this ad is out of line because of what is happening in Iraq. What they don't want the people to realize is that this ad is really about Kerry's record - something the Kerry campaign doesn't want to touch with a ten-foot pole.
This is a case of the Kerry campaign not being able to give an answer so they've decided to change the question.
It seems as if Kerry thinks that he can use the war in Iraq a shield from criticism.
"Windsurfing" covers Kerry's flip-flops on these issues:
- The war in Iraq
- Funding the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan
- The No Child Left Behind Act
- Medicare
And the Kerry campaign's response is that this inappropriate because of continued violence in Iraq? Why can't they address Kerry's flip-flops on these issues, instead of conjuring up an excuse as to why the attacks on his record are inappropriate?
