Giving Aid and Comfort to the Enemy

John Kerry is known for nothing if not mastery of such contorted verbal gymnastics and meandering rhetorical platitudes that he accomplishes the rare feat of being arguably the politician best able to utter the most words without actually saying anything. This indecipherability is what makes him insufferable, for anyone inflicted with the pain of having to hear him speak for any meaningful length of time. But Kerry has become so desperate to claw back into the race that his new and desperate attack lines have shifted his campaign from loyal, if inconsistent, opposition to reckless irresponsibility.

While at war, a candidate for President must highlight differences with his opponent while NEVER giving our enemies ANY reason to believe that America is divided over whether to win or lacks the will to do it. Kerry's statements not only show a total lack of judgment on how to campaign appropriately during a war, but also show that he would be a feckless Commander in Chief. Because American power is most effective when it does not have to be backed by force, Kerry’s dithering undermines America’s ability to influence events
