What did Lockhart know?
It is being reported that Bill Burkett said that Lockhart pressured him to release the documents to CBS when they had their phone conversation.
At the Star-Telegram: During a single phone conversation with Lockhart, Burkett said he suggested a "couple of concepts on what I thought [Kerry] had to do" to beat Bush. In return, he said, Lockhart tried to "convince me as to why I should give them the documents."
A member at the Free Republic said that they mentioned this story on Fox News although it is not on their website yet.
